Hi! I am trying to set up the plugin and I keep getting the message “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” What can I do?

Which version of WP are you using, if it’s 3.0, I will check the compatibility next weekend :-)

Same problem. I run WP 3.0.
This plug looks very promising. Having ‘Admin’ as admin login is not a good idea. It’s like doing half the job for the hackers.
      Thank you!

You are using WPMU or just simple WP without the multi-site option activated?

I had the same problem (I’m using WPMU 3.0). The thing is that after you change your username you don’t have administration rights anymore. Thankfully, I had a second admin account, so I just logged in using the second account and gave admin rights to my primary account.

There should be a way to do this by modifying the MySQL database as well…

Hi, I’ve not yet worked with the WPMU 3.0, this plugin works properly with the normal WP 3.0

I’ve got it working at my site on the latest version of WordPress. I was skeptical about it at first, but this thing works like a charm, especially since the other plugins I found only provide a means to change the admin usernames. This thing not only allows for changing regular usernames, you can specify which level of users can change their name. Excellent job.

This is a great addition to WordPress but I’m also trying to user this on multisite and it doesn’t appear to allow users to change their usernames. Any progress with WPMU?
